Since it's launch in July 2006, Everyday Health has grown to be the sixth largest health portal — making it the fastest growing health site online. Producing a site of this scale at such speed prevented the initial deployment from realizing the brand goals. I joined the Everyday Health team in October charged with the task of incrementally fixing the brand.
To realize the brand goals of a simple, warm, authoritative (but not clinical) health site, I convinced the team to use wider pages, larger fonts, and more white space.
I created the wireframes and specs in addition to designing for the CNN Health and GSK pitches. The final creative exceeded expectations and there is now great interest in applying our brand to the design and deploying it on our own site.
